The “Product Account Mapping” menu is used for mapping an “Account Code” master with a “Product / Service”, if that product is purchased/ buy or sold by the company then the mapped buy or sale account code will affect by an accounting/ finance point of view. The functionality of this mapping is for the purpose of (i) Debit / Credit to the mapped ‘buy account codes’ during accounting entry of Purchase of goods or Debit/Credit Note issue, and (ii) Debit / Credit to the mapped ‘sale account codes’ during accounting entry of Sale of goods or Debit/Credit Note issue.

Yes, If accounts and finance module is not subscribed by the user then it is suggested to create the dummy account from “Account Code” menu and map that dummy accounts in “Product Account Mapping”. The dummy account creation/ mapping can be done only after conformation on mail by the client for which the TYASuite is going to Implement.
