The use of ‘Category’ selected in Product Master creation is for categorising the products and for reporting purposes only. The functionality of ‘Category’ is to provide the access to products for different menus i.e. Raise a PR, Direct PO, and Direct Invoice, based on its mapped category from the CCPM Menu.

“Menu Action Mapping” can be used to allow or disallow the right of Add, Edit, View History, and Download options of any Master. Users need to click on the ‘Add’ Icon available on the right side and select the user role from the dropdown. If “User Role” is not there to map then the same need to be created/approved from the “User Roles” menu. Once access is allowed/disallowed for a different option and different masters then click on the ‘MAP’ button to Save the mapping.
