Ans: The use of the ‘GST Input Not Applicable’ checkbox selection in Product Master creation is to take GST Input effect, in the accounting entry at the time of GRN or Direct Invoice. If this checkbox is not ticked then GST Input will be taken and the accounting entry will debit with the GST Mapped account if this checkbox is ticked then GST Input will not take and the input effect will be clubbed with the Purchase account itself.
